The Mini Makers Market is an opportunity for young creators to become their own CEO! Young entrepreneurs between the ages of 5-14 are given the freedom to create, make and sell whatever they imagine! Starting with the brainstorming process, we will guide them how to bring their ideas to life. They will learn the financial sides of running a business, how to market and advertise their creations, and interact with their customers on market day.

FAQs

  • Any child btwn the ages of 5-14 with a parent/guardian can apply to the Mini Makers Market. Parent/Guardian must be committed to supporting the child through the time and finances involved to execute their business project. Must be within reasonable distance to Princeton Junction/West Windsor.

  • There is no fee to apply. If your project is accepted into the market, there is a $75 fee to participate. This includes an exclusive workshop covering: consultation, product review, brand exploratory, financial planning, a photoshoot and access to a 1-day physical space to sell your products.

  • The answer is we don’t know. The number of items sold is dependent on your child’s sales. This has many variables and we do not guarantee a sales amount.

    We do, however provide guidance and an opportunity to sell among like-minded makers. The goal of this project is to empower your child, to be creative, problem-solve, plan and execute an idea, rather than focus on monetary profits.
